MDPeek Privacy Policy

MDPeek is a Markdown viewer and editor that runs entirely on your device. It does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data or usage information. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs.

• Documents you open are read from your device and rendered locally. They never leave your device.
• Network access is used only to display remote images that your own documents explicitly reference (for example, badges in a README). No other network requests are made.
• Folder access you grant is stored on your device as a macOS security-scoped bookmark, solely so the app does not need to ask again. It is never transmitted.
• Purchases are handled entirely by Apple. MDPeek never sees your payment details.
